Kenny K's dt

How the stalkers doing?  Hope everybodies having a great weekend, can be sure that mine has improved since i am back on line, for how long is the big question.  Its the BIG MOMENT!! the start of the challenges for Kenny K's krafty girlz challenges and not a moment too soon.

The challenge this week is for "Pastels" and the dt have done a fabulous job on all their cards.

For my card this week i used "download diva" availalbe from Kenny store, colored with copics.  I used one of my paper doilies for the back of my image, distressed the edges of my dp from ek success, Stacey Claire Boyd collection, and then added a bit of the glittah treatment to them, i added some stitching around the edge too and  had to give my cherry blossoms and the shoes the good ol glittah too since they were just calling out for it.

Go see what the rest of the girls have outdone themselves with, you gonna love this group of talent.

Totally Tilda

Yep me again, this time i'm gonna try the new challenge blog Totally Tilda, we all love Tilda, so here goes for their first challenge they want "chocolate"

Well normally that translates to the stuff that helps the thighs spread and get wider, but in this case its just this sweet little image of "Bunny Tilda" and chocolatey colors.
I made my flowers again for this one and gave them a good ol going over of the diamond stickles, as did her bow get the same treatment, image colored with copics, and the dp from my stash.  Had to use the sewing machine, its working like a bomb just hope it doesnt blow up on me again, he he.

Totally gorjuss dt

Well its Saturday and that means there is a new challenge on Totally gorjuss, to create soemthing with "water".  To me water and bubbles go hand in hand, only problem is that if you live in Africa, you cannot rely on anything.  We have a problem this side of the world called "COPPER THIEVES", now i see you scratching your head, so let me fill you in:  These fools seem to crawl outa the woodwork on a regular basis, they dig up the copper wiring which we rely on for telephone connections etc, not giving a thought to the fact that they may get electrocuted, and thats it you are stuck without any contact with the rest of the world till some clever somebody comes along to do the reapirs.  I have been in such a lather about this as i have not been able to do anything online for about 48 hours, serious withdrawals.

I missed the deadline for the dt challenge but am still doing my post as i am gonna enter this into the Magnolialicious highlights challenge.  I used bubble blower Tilda, made my free standing pop up card using a piece of acetate for my pop up bit, then i added some dimensional glaze to the acetate for the bubbles and just to show you how cold my studio gets, it cracked while it was drying.  I thought i was gonna redo it and then thought, why? it looks exactly like bubbles with all the added cracked bubbles inside of bubbles that we sometimes get.

Image was colored with copics, lots of diamond stickles, and i made my flowers with various sizes of EK Success flower punches.  Hope you like it.

P.S: cant begin to explain how relieved i am to be back on line, SHEW!

DP2 challenge dt

I am late as usual and this week is worse as i have my sister and her six BOYS visiting, i say boys, but in truth they are men, ranging from 27 to 15 in ages and trust me to feed this lot is like cooking for a small army.
Well i have made a card for the DP2 challenge using Lacie with ice cream available from Mo's digital pencil and the theme this week for the challenge is "summer".  When you talk to me about summer it brings to mind, lon hot days and ice cream.

My dp is one of those that i dont remember where it came from, just appeared in the stash, and lately i seem to pretty stuck on this color combo, pink and blue, but it works for me.  Used a MS punch for the strip across the bottom of my card, added a ribbon with a large bow, and added a cherry blossom and butterfly.  Image was colored with my copics.

So sorry i dont have much to say today and the post is kinda boring, but i am pressed for time, sure will be back over the weekend with more to share.

A spoonfull of sugar dt card drive

Hi blog hoppers,as i'm sure a lot of you know by now that one of our dt memebers Michelle had a terrible accident a couple of weeks ago and has lost her right eye.  The dt and a few of our sponsors have gotten together to do a card drive for Michelle as it would sure lift anyones spirits to recieve a mailbox full of well wishes.

So this weeks challenge is to make a card for Michelle, enter your card on ASFOS challenge blog and then pop it in the mail to :
Michelle Oatman
17232 Wildhorse Pass
Marion, TX 78124

There are loads of things up for grabs as the sponsors have all pulled together and we are hoping you will too.
For my card this week i thought i would use the cute little donkey that was kindly donated by whimsy stamps store for FREE.

My dp is American crafts, image colored with copics, pearls from my stash as is the ribbon and i added some stitching around the layered dp.

A Tribute to Ginger

Hi there hoppers, we are doing a blog hop this week for Mo's mum "Ginger".  You shoul have arrived here from Sheila to be on the right track.  We, all of the dt memeber for Mo, namely the DP2 and the Dream team got together and made birthday cards for Ginger's birthday, in the hope that we will be helping give her the birthday that any mum would just LOVE, especially since Mo gives us such beautiful designs to work with. So i hope you will continue on the hop and enjoy all the fabulous work that the girls have done to also inspire you.  From here you should be headed for Cathy.

For my card i decided to use this beautifull little darling called "Inbetween" available from Mo's web shop
For a change i also decorated the inside of my card where i will write my greeting for Ginger.
Colored my image with copics, nesties to cut out the image and layer, MS deep edger punch, and loads of cherry blosssoms and a few little pearls to finish off.  Enjoy the hopping to see what the other girls created, FABULOUS!
In case you get lost along the way here is the list of the hop order:

Totally gorjuss dt

Late as usual, well this week we have another sketch for you from Totally gorjuss , dont you just love sketches, takes away all the geussing?

For my card this week i used one of my newly delivered LOTV stamps, just couldnt resist, he he.  I gave her wings a little bit of a pop and added tons of stardust stickles as i did to her crown and those little fairy slippers.  Used one of my new MS punches for the border across the bottom of my card, added a few of my little prima roses, I added some embossing with one of my cuttlebug embossing folders to the bottom layer of my card, not sure you can see it, using "daisy"

Our sponsor this week is Joanna Sheen so i really am hoping this will encourage you to come and play, good luck!
have a great crafting weekend, and those that are celebrating 4th July ENJOY! we will also be celebrating my baby "Eden's" 4th birthday.
these are the copics i used not sure if this pic helps much, but there you have it.

please send me your snail mail address and i shall inform my husband as soon as i hear from you that he needs to get your goodies in the post.

Mo's challenges dt

You gonna have to forgive me for being so late with this post, but someone stole a day this week, i kept thinking it was Wednesday only to get a rude awakening and find out that i had lost a day as it is Thursday.
So here is my good news!!I may be off the dream team for Mo, but i got and email from Peggy to ask me if i would like to move to the challenge team, well what could i say? No?  i think not, i started screeching like a lunatic and accepted right away.
This is my card for the first challenge on the DP2 challenge team and the first challenge that we have with me as part of the team is to use "Fabric" on your card, not a bow or ribbon.

I have used "Jack & Ginger" for my card available at Mo's store, colored my image with copics, i decided that i would use lace around my image since i got a real bargain on lace the other day, added some of the ever present flowers and a sentiment from SU, L"amour.   Have you noticed i ahve been stitching on my cards, remember the machine i bought at a bargain that blew up in my face?  was a bargain to have repaired and now works like a bomb, he he.  So you gonna see lots of stitching.

Pop over to the challenge blog to see what the other fabulously talented dt made to inspire you, and perhaps join in the fun.

CANDY!!!!!!

AAHH UMMM!!! i'm afraid i am gonna get long winded about this candy, so if you dont have time, skip it.
I posted my very first post ever on the 22 July last year, very nervous about taking the plunge into blogland, i am not totally computer literate and am terrified of techno gadgets.  I have a cricut expression that i have had for five years and has maybe seen the light of day twenty times, TERRIFYING!!! Now when this lark started i thought who would care about what i do or have to say?  Well 202 people care! I am ever surprised that my numbers go up and up and up, The stat counter above my followers says its almost on 30 000, and the widget that my kind friend Sharon  added round Febuary this year, gives me a count of over 10 000.
Just typing this i am getting a little short of breath, i am truly GOBSMACKED!!!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, to each and every one of you that visit me and find time to leave me commments, you have no idea how much it means to me, after a long day with the demands of my children, i go into my studio at night and work on what to add to my blog or what challenges i am gonna enter and share with y'all, and just knowing that i have people interested in what i am doing keeps me posting.  My husband is one of those men that believes in keeping his wife happy, so he is gonna sponsor the postage on this candy WORLDWIDE!!

Please do not advertise as this is a thank you to those that follow me and leave me such amazing comments and have such patience with my waffling.  If you have stumbled here and are reading this and want to be in with a chance, by all means become a follower, the more the merrier.
This post will stay at the top till the 1st July and then i am gonna get Random org to do a draw, havent figured out how just yet, but will cross that bridge when i get there, he he.
Leave me a comment and your name which i will assign numbers to and enter the numbers with random org
This will all go into a large pizza box to be posted, and here is a list of the items:
