A spoon full of sugar dt

LATE AGAIN!!! Never a dull moment in this house of mine, i mean the cheek of my husband and the children, making all the extra washing now that its winter, i am never gonna have time for myself.  I just couldnt believe that i had five large fur lined winter coats to wash this morning, not to mention all the scarves and mitts, surely they can dress with less!!!

Anywho now that i got that bit out the way, i am stealing 15 mins to quickly share my newest creation for the A spoon full of sugar challenge.  This week its floral delights, floral paper, paper flowers, all your floral bits and bobs.  We being sponsored by Bunny Zoe's crafts and boy do they have lots of fun new items in stock!

I havent used my "tilda with spring bundler so i just had to ink her up, she is gorgeous and so nice to color, i am gonna enter this in the Friday sketches so also get to use this card for a challenge.  I have colored my image with my copics, given the bundler a bit of the glittah! had to fill the gaps as i thought they looked a little lonely in the corners so added a few choice pearls, dp from Calombour.

Mo's dream team gdt

I am so loving being on Mo's dream team as a geust, i get to use these fabulous images from Mo, and this one is available Here, isnt she a real cutie, called "Trinity"

My daughter is in Grade 1 and every Friday they have a mathematical test at school, so this week in anticipation of her coming home with 100% as it has been for the last couple of weeks i thought to reward her.  She is nuts for coloring and anything artistic, what do they say apple the apple not falling far from the tree?

I made this litte rucksack and filled with crayons and note pads, stationary etc, then  i made her a locker that is filled with pencils and i had to have a card to tell her i am so proud of all her efforts
.

Magnolia

Hi bloghoppers, i have made this easel card for two challenges: Just Magnolia and the Magnolia birthday bash, i must add that i totally enjoyed making this, i didnt have too much difficulty doing the lace around the image, but i think its the colors and the GLITTAH! we all know i LOVE  a bit of bling.  OOOHH, i just noticed that crazy 4 challenges want you to use pleats on your card, well thats what i did witht he lace so i will enter it there too.

Did ya notice i used my cricut?  Now dont go getting any ideas that i am finally bonding with that hatefull machine, i got through four sheets of cardstock to just get these few things cut, grrrrr, it is so frustrating not knowing what the end cut will be.  So my Mag image was cut using my coluzzle, then i cut the frames for the image on the cricut, behind my Image is where i pleated the lace to go all the way around.  I added pearls and lots of glittah to this card, the sentiment was also cut with the cricut.  My image is colored with copics, and the dp is from crafty individuals, i think!

Totally gorjuss dt

Hi Blog hoppers i dont know where the week has gone, but time waits for no one, and its time this week for our challenge on Totally gojuss.  The gorjussettes seem to have done another fabulous job on their cards this week and we are being sponsored by Joanna Sheen.

This week its a fab sketch from our very own Net, takes away all the geuss work and makes life so easy breezie.  I am using one of Mo's fabulous images "two tu-tu's"  and are they not just sssoooo CUTE?  i  am so enjoying working with these fabulous images, think i am in coloring heaven, they are so beautifully rendered and detailed that it makes coloring them such a pleasure.

The dp is locally SA from queen of hearts, image colored with copics, and the corsage pins are from my stash, as are the flowers, the border around the image is a MS punch, and i had to add these buttons to the centre of my flowers as they matched the paper perfectly.
Startdust stickles, can you see them?
Hope you will join us in this weeks challenge at Totally gorjuss i look forward to seeing what y"all do with the sketch.
smiles
Paola

One stop craft challenge

I made this card using another new image from Mo shes's called Lacie with ice cream and isnt she just an absolute darling, i think i have another love besides crafting, it called Mo's digital images.

I am gonna enter this card for the challenge on one stop craft challenge, they want pearls and swirls, and they sure got lots of both on this card.

I gave Lacies's shades a good going over with glaze and her dress got a bit of the ol glitz, added a couple of cherry blossoms, and a lush yellow ribbon.  i know that these dp's are bright, but i thought they worked really well with the ice cream and the whole summer feel of the image.

GDT for Mo's dream team

WHOOO WHO!!! This is my first post as one of the GDT members for Mo's dream team and i cannot even begin to put into words what a BIG HONOR this is for me.  Of course i have another dream, but we can all dream.  I have used this sentiment "wish big", because this is one fo my biggest wishes, and it came true!

For this card that i am sharing with you today i have used Fairy Finna which can be purchased over on Mo's web shop, i think she is absolutely GORGEOUS! and perfect for adding the glittah factor to.
Another cool thing you can do with your digi images purchsed from Mo is once they are downloaded you can mirror the image, how cool is that?

So i extended the water that she has her hand in and made a mirrored image on the bottom of my easel so it looks like she is literally looking into the water.  I had to give her a bit of glaze on the water so it would look realistic and then of course a fairy has to have lots of flowers.  Another thing i did was to cut around her wings and raise them, jsut to give them the touch of dimension, oh i cant get enough of this beautiful little darling.
oops i just noticed my ribbon looks sqew, but when i look at my card it isnt, dont know why it lloks like that in the picture, so yes Carol, i do seem to have oopsy moments.

SUMMER!!!!!

You see me calling for summer, its so darn cold here today, one would never geuss we lived in Africa.  Do you remember a few months ago i was complaining of the heat, well now i gotta complain of the cold, i really wouldnt mind, if it would just snow and be done with.  So here is a nice summery image in the hope that it would warm me a up a tad.

Summer tilda and her tube, colored with copics and added a bit of glaze to the tube to make it shine, stickles on the water to give it a bit of a shimer and some swirly rhinestones and layered flowers with rhinestone centres.

entering this one into three challenges:
Just Magnolia they want you to depict HOT and nothing says it better than a summery Beachy scene
stamptacular sunday who also want some of the beach
Magnolia down under want us to use flowers.
think i covered all bases with this one.

Mag's birthday bash & recipe

Hi blog hopper, sure you wouldnt wann live in SA right now, or more specifically JHB, it FREEZING!  Just the right kind of weather for crafting.  So my first post today is this new "ballerina tilda", colored with copics and glittzed almost beyond recognition, i gave her crown some rhinestones too, cut with colluzle and nestie, i made these ballet shoes cos i thought they would be a nice addition to this ensemble.
I'm gonna enter this into the Magnolialicious birthday bash challenge 3 using their sketch
I flipped the sketch cos i preferred it this way.
Then i am gonna enter this card for the challenge on stamp something, and they have a recipe to follow:  dp, a ribbon, a bow and a tag.
Well see you shortly with the next one, he he, hope everyone is having a great weekend

Totally gorjuss dt

Oh My! i seem to be late for everything these days i just HATE! tardiness i really think it is the height of rudeness so what can people be thinking of me these days?  I must really apologise.

The challenge on totally gorjuss this week is things with wings.  I have used an image from LOTV which i just adore, i am not too sure of this card, my coloring mojo seems to be in a bit of a slump, the papers are from paper pizzaz.  I distressed the edges with a bit of distress ink, pumice stone, added a few flowers and lots of bling to my fairy.

I used the sketch from LOTV challenge blog so that i can enter it there also.
Hope you are all having a creative weekend, and will try to do more this week.
