Sweet Pea Stampers dt

This is my first post for the dt on Sweet Pea stampers challenge blog  and let me just add that the talent on this team is phenomenal so you have to go and check out the inspiration that the girls have come up with.
For this weeks challenge it is "swirls of summer" being sponsored by the awesome Crafty purple frog
hop over and see the amazing choice of digital decoupage!
The prize on offer this week is 3 digital sheets of your choice!!!
for my card i am using an image by "Meridith Dillman" available from Sweet pea stamps
The papers that i've used are all from Prima and i just love these, so i am sure you will see me using them quite a bit in the future.  the punch i used around my card is an Ek success punch and the pearls are from my stash, as usual i stuck them down individually sinc ethe pearls i use are not self adhesive, so i lay down dots of glue and then add the pearls.

Well thats it for now, do pop in and see the awesomeness on our challenge blog and join in the fun.
have a great weekend
smiles

Sweet Faeries

Hi stalkers, yes its me, you didnt imagine i had gone far did you?  Been running around with the kids this week, things to do activities to get them to, no rest for the dying and no peace for the dead.  I escaped to my craft room for a few hours this evening, let me tell you winter is her, it felt like i was in a bloody igloo, thought my noombies may freeze right off.  So i got this beauty colored and whipped toghether this simple card to enter into the Creative inspirations challenge.

There is a little story behind me acquiring this beauty, around January i won a voucher on one of the challenge blogs, but because i am brain dead when it comes to techno matters i couldnt figure out how to get my hands on it, so it took me till about the middle of April to figure it out and i finally recieved my prize this week.
I colored her with my copics and glitzed her skirt and wings, the red paper i stamped and heat embossed with gold embossing powder, shew when last did i do any of these techniques?  Then i cut the two fluer de lis on my cricut, dont remember i think it is home deco, added a single rose to the corner and that is it.  Sweet and simple.  Its gone midnight and i am teaching in the morning so i am off to rest my head.
