oh yes i found that skating backwards was easier to remember that skating forward, lol
In case you're wondering what that roll around my waiste is, it isnt my faty roll, i had on such a long skirt that it dragged on the ice and i almost fell over my skirt so i had to roll it up to prevent serious injury.
Even my eldest boy joined us, what a delight to have all four of my children with me for this outing, i so miss having my eldest son joining me on little outings, was such a pleasure. My two youngest children were off skating within a matter of minutes and this was their first time on the ice.
P.S: As you can see my dear husband isnt much of a photographer, he blamed the camera of course!
Well after the furor of moving house and then moving into my new kick ass studio i finally feel like life is returning to life as i remember. Next week the children will be going back to school and then i can finally sit my toosh down and get stuck in seriously without distraction. We went ice skating the other day and fun was had by all, including yours truly, oh yes i put the skates on and its just like after you've learnt to ride a bicycle, you never forget. Once or twice around the rink and i was back on my skates so to speak.
Anywho on with our challenge for this week, "Anything goes" so nice and easy. I wanted to use this dream image for a long time, i have used the boy version before and then i came across this paper that i thought was perfect, from Echo park. This delightful iamge is available from Mo's store
HERE
i kept the card very simple without too many embellishments so that i didnt lose the paper, added the circular sentiment from LOTV, and a ribbon, few pearls and called it done.
the senitment in the centre of my card is computer generated, and after i had done the card i realised how many other stamp sentiments i have in my stash that would have been perect, oh well next time.
do join our challenge for this week
smiles
