TOMIC entry!

Hi friends, i am gonna share a quick card that i made with a bookmark for a special friend in Cape Town.
All the image i have used are available from Magnolia-licious store the item numbers and stamp names are Pirate Edwin #156, Pirate Tilda #230 and Jolly Roger #248, barrel #558.  The backgrounds are hand drawn
The paper was a wrapping paper that i adhered to card to give it a firmer base;
Cardstock is basil.  I distressed all the edges and gave thema good coat of distress ink, dont recall which color.
All the pearls, rhinestones and charms are from my stash.
P.S:  i have some very good news to share, just have to keep your eyes peeled for when i have the go ahead to share it and i am DYING to share it, as we all know i am terrible at secrets.

    I love the idea of a book mark in the card,It is so beautiful something tells me I'd be looking at the bookmark and and reading the book...Your Cape Town friend is going to love this

    I truly hope your secret is that you are launching either your own digi stamp company or rubber stamp line!! I was drooling over that background and read that it was hand-drawn!!! I was thinking - I WANT THAT BACKGROUND in my head!! :) Please, please, please let that be your secret and this is one of your designs!! Keeping my fingers crossed!

    Wow, this is a truly special card, Paola! It reminds me of Jack Sparrow and his crew; is that friend of yours a pirate by any chance...lol:))?

    Fabulous card Paola! The distressing and map paper is a fabulous idea! Love how you colored the images and the little tag on the inside is delightful! Love the beads you added to it (but you know me and beads!!!) I think your friend will absolutely adore this one!
