I saw the post that Zoe and Jane shared in blog land and was totally floored, i thought "well Paola, its time to pack away your copics cos i am NEVER gonna be able to do that."
I should never have challenged myself, yesterday i made a mad dash to one of my friends craft stores to get some Adirondack in pale colors so that i could give it a go. Now be kind, i know its no where near as good as the two i mentioned earlier in this post.
It was hard, not as easy as normal coloring as yes the lines kinda dissapear as you go, also it took me a long time to be satisfied enough to post it here. I am still not completely satisfied, but will keep working at it.
I doubt i will make a card with this image till i get better at the technique, but here you have it, warts and all as they say, since there are a lot of mistakes i know!
have a great week

Babes, it looks pretty darned perfect to me - what a totally amazing effect it has on the image, wow! Hugs Sxx
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo, can you hear the chears - nope, well the UK is a long way a way!!! Well done Paola for taking up the challenge - you've done a fabulous job. I don't know about you but for me the hardest part, other than when the lines suddenly disappear under the ink (scary) is trying to get depth & definition without them - it tests your colouring/shading abilities to the max!!! TFS ~ Jane
ReplyDeleteYou are far too hard on yourself, but that's how I know you. A fabulous first attempt Paola... wow! It can only get better from here on. hugs Sharon

Wow, you really did it! I'm not even going to try! The folds in her shirt look so real! (as do the dimples in her little knees!) Sure looks good to me.
