So yesterday i was gabbing on about being so busy and that yes i had started making an effort to make a few Xmas cards for friends of mine who are gonna be celebrating Christmas at the end of the year.
Just so you know that i wsnt totally laying around idle here they are.
the first one i made i just felt i had to use these two newish cuties from the most recent kit, which came with the sentiment too
And i just love the white on white feel, however i wanted my images to pop!
i thought i might enter this card in the challenge on at Tilda town
For this card i having been leaning toward the kraft paper now for a while and i just love the way some of the crafters make the shabby chic cards look so easy even when i find it so challenging. They have a challenge on WOC for "Bling" and there is a lot of bling here on the tree and flourishes aswell as lots of stickles all over the tree and images.
the Tree i made using a Marianne die, which i just cut four times and glued together so i would have a 3d tree to decorate. This card was made for a specific friend who told me in no uncertain terms, she didnt want a snowy card for Xmas since its hot as Hades in SA at this time of year
the little lights on the tree were sent to me by my BFF sometime ago when i expressed an interest in them and couldnt find any in SA. I have been so frugal with them in the hope that i dont run out of the little lights i think they great for this kinda card. I used glittering Tilda and another of the images from the new stamp kit that i dont have a name for right now.
hope you enjoyed seeing what i have been up to

Boy...for someone who doesn't "do" Christmas, you sure can make fabulous Christmas cards, sistah! I love these both...and I have to admit, those new stamps from Magnolia really are cute! The one crawling up the card is a little creepy...but the other one ROCKS! hehe! And your coloring is stunnnnnning, as always!! Hugs. Pat (Frank)
