Our new challenge for Mo's challenge blog is up and running and i am running ever so late. Will get to all the excuses shortly, first off our challenge this week is "Bling it on with a Mo image"
As per my usual style of brain drain i forgot to check the challenge specs before merrily making my card, i had added pearls and was doing my own thing when it dawned on me i had better check, hells bells!!! i had to pull all the pearls i had glued around my image off and then add the rhinestones, no major tradgedy thank goodness. My image is available from Mo's digi store HERE, its called "singing in the rain" such a cutie.
All these other bits and bobs are from the never ending stash.
Now if you have kids and an ailing aging parent visitng you will know and understand why i am so late. I know my friend, dt sistah and Mo's team leader has none of the above and thats why she emailed me to ask what happened to my card this week. Let me tell you today was one of those days, i drop the kids off on time, unlike Monday when i was half hour late. I came racing home to start a scrapping class that i teach on Thursdays, only to get a call to go back to the school my little one is coughing and may be contagious! "What?" she has croup, have you ever heard of anyone catching croup? not in this life, anyhow i bring her home and it just got worse as the day progressed, wont bore you with all the details, but if you can relate to any of the above you will know what i mean when i say that the day went down the tubes from having to pick up my little one at school.
So there you have it, hope you will come and play at Mo's this week

So very, very pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, having kids and an ailing parent visiting...not to mention one of them getting sick and having to be picked up from school...it's a wonder that you are so coherent! I agree with other commenters...pearls ARE bling!! Of course we tell you this after you replace them with the rhinestones, LOL. It's still a gorgeous card! Hope all is calming down and on the mend at your end,

Oh, my dear BFF! I can totally relate (though I wish I could say I couldn't!!!) How tough to have that happen with dh away and mum visiting!! In any case you really pulled this one out of the hat beautifully! Looks so much better on your blog than on skype! Wonder why skype can't be clearer? Hey, pearls are bling, you put yourself through all that stress for nothing, but the rhinestones look faaaaabulous, daahling! Big Texas hugs...Barb <><

This is a perfectly gorgeous card, pearls or crystals, either one, its the coloring, the layout and the love that goes into it that makes the card so beautiful and this is one stunning card... Love this little Mo out in the rain as as usual you did a beautiful job... Hugs, Jean
