We are celebrating Christmas in July this month on TOMIC with a color scheme "Red, green and white" and additional "stars" the image needs to have a star.
Well i gotta say that i am not in the Christmas mode yet, in actual fact i am really down in the doldrums and not feeling too cheery. My uncle Frank passed away, my mother's only brother and we had his funeral this morning :(
my card recipe:
Inks: copics and memento
stamps: Tilda catching star and sentiment from co0utnry crafts
punches and dies: Marianne dies for the pointsettas, so wrapped starlight bag tag Magnolia, star border Magnolia, starlight lace, bon voyage foliage.
other: impasto white for all the edges, a doily from the stash, diamond dust on the poinsettias, distress inks, corsage pin that got a good going over with green glittah to change the color to green, ribbon charm from the stash, loads of teeny tiny rhinestones.
have a great week and do join our challenge this month on Tomic, perhaps get ahead with all those Christmas cards.

My best thoughts are with you, even if you were not in the Christmas mode you card is very beautiful, I love how you colored the hair of Tilda, and the clothes, oh and everything! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Brigitte :)
I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your Uncle Frank. Can understand why you wouldn't be in the Christmas mood, but your card certainly doesn't reflect that, it's lovely!
