hi there friends, this week on
Mo's challenge blog our challenge is "C is for......" and mine is for "Challah" in case you're wondering what "Challah" is, it is also known as Kitke. It is the bread that we break on Sabbath for the blessing at our Sabbath table, and the plaited bread that this adorable image is holding in her hands.
I colored my image with copics, and i wanted to try my hand at the shabby chic thing since i dont feel like i do it very well, i am quite pleased with this little beauty.
i added lots of distressing and a few torn details to give it the shabby look, a bit of antique linen around the edges, and some corrugated board all to add to the feel.
the sentiment is computer generated and translates as 'happy holidays"
