Mo's dp2 challenge dt

This week was a real challenge for me as we have a color challenge on Mo's digital pencil challenge blog, "Red, orange, and yellow", a combo that i have never tried and when i saw this i nearly fell off my chair, lol
So while hunting for paper i found this paper by American craft which had all the required colors, but then i kinda go side tracked by the blue.  i have used Sams in trouble again, available from Mo's store.  I have colored my image with copics as usual, had written down all the colors and then lost the slip of paper that i wrote on :(
I stitched around the edges of all my layers, and i must admit i have a brain block when it comes to embellishing boys cards, i cut out these stars and added the buttons, all i could think of for this little darling.
Head on over to the challenge blog the girls have loads of inspiration!

  4. Your card is adorable, Paola! That paper is so perfect for the "little star of the show, Sam"! Your coloring is just fabulous as always. The small scalloped border beneath the striped panel is super, interesting without being girly, and the stars with the button is perfect! You nailed it my friend!

  14. Love the bright colours balanced with the blue & how you've used the stars & buttons to accent - definitely boyish with the bright colours. Delightful how the eye catches the different ways you've stitched the buttons using the x-stitch for the two opposite stars & then the parallel stitching on the very top one. The more you look at this the more you see.
