Pixie Cottage challengedt

Firstly i think i should let you know there is a new challenge on the Pixie cottage challenge blog, and they haqve a really nice easy sketch to follow, so being as hectic as i am right now i decided to keep my life pretty simple and use the available sketch.
Fro my card i used "Udderly adorable girl by Alisa Ramirez" available from The pixie cottage, colored with my copics, an old folder from cuttlebug for my heart with "love embossed onto it, and the sentiment at the bottom of my card is computer generated.  I also used one of my MS punches for around my image and inked the edges with di antique linen.
Then this is a bit of whats going on at the moment.  I know that i have been a bad blogger of late and have a   a lot going on in my personl life lately, but life does happen and i still have a lot gonna happen while i prepare for my sons wedding in just over two months.  As a result of my neglected blog i seem to have lost a few followers and you know what i dont mind, but for those that are hanging in there, "Thanks so much"  it makes all the hours of crafting and sharing worthwhile.
in my previous post i mentioned that i was flying to the coast for my elderly aunt who had had a very bad fall, she has had to have major surgery to repair a broken hip and arm, and is very dissoriented and seems to be very confused, but i'm sure its quite normal at 85years old.  The sugeon who performed the surgery seems optimistic, so we stay ever hopeful that it wont be the last time i see her.
Then i had a call on Monday evening to say that another aunt of mine has had a terrible stroke and is in the icu unit in another hospital also on the coast, since thats where i originally come from all my family are down there.  Well the older i get, the older they get.
I am back home as i cannot stay away from my small children for long since my husband is not really a hands on dad.  So i am also back to working on my crafting stuff and hope to come up with a few things to share, i just wanted to update all my friends in blogland and let you know that i am not ready to throw in the towel just yet!
Have a great week

This little cow turned out so beautifully. The sketch is wonderful and I love the extra zip your embossed heart gives the card. Perfect sentiment! ;-)

  13. I'm so sorry that you're having so many problems. Unfortunately life has a way of interferring in the things we want to do. I think you're card is adorable and you are a great artist. I hope that your aunts will each be better. I actually came by to comment on your MO's card, but I had to stop here, too. Hugs, dj

  16. Hi Paola
Long time no see. I am sorry to hear that your elderly relatives are becoming frail, but as you say - Life DOES happen and we just have to create the time to do what needs to be done. I love your cards and know how much effort goes into them - My favorites are the the Gorjuss ones. Mazeltov on the fast approaching wedding of your son.
    Love
