Hells bells i am ot sure if you call this an easel cake card, i dont even remember where i saw it, but there have been a few around of late. There was a tutorial that i came across also, but all in inches and 5/8ths etc, didnt make sense to me so i just did this on a wing and a prayer.
This delightful little image Tilda with small gift is available from Magnolia-licious, however so popular that she is unavailable right now, sure it wont be long before Diana has her back in the store.
I had so much fun putting this together and managed to dig in and use some of my new punches, die cuts, paper and flowers. I also have loads of paint, dont know when or why i thought i was gonna become a Picasso rip off artist, but i have a weakness for anything craft related, sure we all have, lol. I dug into the paints and found this fab puff paint, when you heat it, it puffs up, so i thought it would be great to do the icing with.
I am gonna enter the following challenges with this little ensemble:
Addicted to stamps: Pink and brown
Magnolia down under: Favourite things, mine are all over the place like a rash, pearls, flowers and of course Tilda
DYSU: Add a tag
Just Magnolia: Lace
Thats it for now, have a great week

ReplyDeleteAwesome!! this is fabulous and I just love that puff paint!! We used to have puff-paints for fabrics when we were younger.. mum would get us all plain t-shirts and we'd draw on our designs.. I don't remember what made it 'puff' but I do remember we all picked it all off again! tsk tsk, naughty children!

OMG Paola, this is not only GORGEOUS but terribly yummmie- I badly need a slice of that cake...lol! No idea what to start with, I love everything about it! I'm really bad at following tutorials. I always try to picture what I want to make in my head and then logically put it together. Hate calculations especially when it comes to inches cm conversions:(
ReplyDeleteAnyways, your card/project here turned out marvellously and these colors are just perfect to make it edible too:)) I really have to make one of these too! Love it!
Hugs, Iulia
