We have a new challenge on Mo's dp2 challenge blog, "distressing" you can interpret this however you like, distress the edges with distress inks, rough up the edges, whatever!
For me that means free reign, lol. I used both the distressing techniques i mentioned and had so much fun!
My dear friend Sharon sent me a little parcel sharing her new found wealth of stash, just when i was thinking about what i was gonna make for this challenge. The shaped card base is from Sha, the blue flower i used on the card, from Sha, THANKS HONEY!!
the little leaves that you see around the flower are a new Marianne die that i got a few weeks ago and hadnt really had much of a chance to use.
Since we are distressing and i love the idea of the feathers on the wings of Tuesday"s child, available at Mo's store i thought that the feathers around the edges of my card would give it an added whimsical, distressed look.
the butterfly got a good going over with star dust stickles, and a little bow to finish it off.
The inside of my card just got the feather and another butterfly, i am so pleased with the end result.
Now for my little secret: while this post goes live, it is a scheduled post, i am at the offices of one of the sattelite channels for dstv in SA, we are filming a show of me showing how i use copics, promise when they give me the show on dvd i intend to share it either on my blog or on You tube, sure that will be a good laugh!
Now head over to the Challenge blog and join in this weeks fun
