i loved this picture when i saw it and straight away my mind was racing with ideas. I have used "ribbon haired Tilda #221 mini, available from Magnolia-licious store, the background stamp is a local South African company, "County Crafts" i was so happy with my paper choice and colors, until.... i colored the sky, it really looks like poor Tilda is waiting for a storm, but because of all the lilac tones i couldnt make the sky too blue, and then of course as we all know, we run out of time to redo things.
The team have really done a fantastic job on their cards so please head over to the Magnolia-licous challenge blog to check out the inpiration and join us, i look forward to seeing all the great work.

Paola, I love your card the first time I saw it. Love the scene you created with Tilda sitting on that railing and the clouds in the background are fabulous (no, it doesn't look stormy to me). I love those gorgeous leaves too--will have to add that to my next order...LOL.

Hi Paola what a beautiful card, every thing is perfect. If you feel the clouds look stormy don't worry they are faaaar out at sea, nothing will be destroying Tilda's party, lol. Sorry there goes my imagination, but that's because your cards are always so alive. xx
ReplyDeleteOh Paola...this is just as gorgeous as can be! I love your design...and your coloring is stunnnnning!! I'm not a purple person, as a rule, but you rocked it out, darlin'!! Good luck with the 'puter shopping this week!! Hugs. Pat
