Mini Magnolia ornaments

I have been busy trying to finish these ornaments for over a week now since before i went down to the coast with my children, and just realised i had better get them done as they are winging their way to USA, a little gift for someone who does a whole lot for other people and i was thinking it would be real nice to do something nice for her, not saying who its for, so dont ask.  Anywho, the challenge at Stamptacular Sunday calls for something 'Snowy:, now how much closer can you get then a snowflake?
These ornaments were made the same way i made the larger one in an earlier post, cutting a ring of foam core board and then stringing the beads onto bead pins and then sticking them into the foam core at regular intervals all the way around.
I used Mini snowy hugs and Edwin letters to Santa, made a shaker and filled the shaker inside with glitter for the snow effect.  My Magnolia images got a good going over with the puff pen along their fur lined jackets as did snowy.
Well thats it for now.  While i write this post these are on a flight across the ocean and i just realized that snowy didnt get cheeks, does he really need rosy cheeks? do you think anyone else will notice?

  4. Wow Paola, that is sooo gorgeous!! Love what you did with the beads, like little sunrays!! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. My MIL has recovered from the pneumonia and will be transferred from hospital to a hospice to spend the last period of her life. We can visit her there at any time, it is only a 5 minute drive away from our house and she will be well taken care of. We're all very releaved that she's still with us, something we couldn't have hoped for a week ago. Hugs, Frea
