Snowy hugs

I have been itching to play with all my new stash so i took some time today just to vegitate and do what i wanna do, without worrying about all the dt work that i should be doing instead.  I made this shadow card to enter into the following challenges:
Magnolia stamps lovers : Punch, i used loads of punches here to make all the snow flakes
Bah- humbug: feeling  the blues, not that i feelblue, but of course my card is "blue"
Fab n" Funky: are letting you go with the flow, GREAT!
My image was colored with copics:  B99, B97, B95, B93, skin:  E00, E21 and the pinks are R85, R85, R81
The Christmas tree was made with a Nelli Snellen Christmas tree die that i picked up at the NEC, i used it three times, folded each layer in half and then cut them horizontally, rearranged them, i inked the edges added lots of MS snow.
The apperture in my card also has a shaker so that if you tip the card it REALLY looks like my little Maggie and her snowman are really getting snowed on.  The patterned paper is one that i made since amongst the millions of papers can you believe i couldnt find one with snow flakes, and i had to use snow flakes.

Since this style of card doesnt really give one space to write on i decorated the back for that.

  15. Paola, ah, this is so beautiful... love the color blue you chose for this card.. I am not feeling blue, but the blue makes me happy and feel serene and cool... all your snowflakes and the touch of pink are so perfect but the tree, well I had to really look at it over and over... I thought it was made of wax.. that is how real it looks... really gorgeous.. would never think it was folded up pp and love the shaker too... yes I could go on and on too...

  29. Wowzer! Paola what a fabulous card. I love cards that have a lot 3-D work on them. Very cute Maggie image—I have it too but haven’t played with it yet. Brilliant the way you’ve made this a shaker card as well as a shadow box card. I like the way you made your 3-D Chrismas tree—must try that sometime. TSF.
    A beautifully-put-together card. I love it!

    Hugs,
    Norma
